2 BBL Fermenter with Cooling

Bubbas Barrels 2 BBL fermenter

Total volume is 75 gallons. Our fermenter is made in three pieces: A tube body is mated to a conical bottom that is secured with a carbon steel bolt ring. The top of the tube is fitted with a lid that removes with a lever lock ring. Our welds are passivized using equipment from Walter Surface Technologies. All tanks are pressure tested prior to shipment.

Standard features include:

• 3 piece construction for easy cleaning.
• Thermometer and thermowell.
• 5” casters.
• Stainless legs.
• Two 1.5” butterfly valves.
• 1.5” filler port.
• TC x hose barb for blow off.
• Cooling coil.
• Optional Thermocouple/PID port for remote temp monitoring (cap included)

Cooling Coil: Our cooling coil is made from 40 feet of 1/2" 304 stainless tubing. We have this coil made and pressure tested in the USA.

Options:

Insulation:  ¾” of Armaflex® or Aerocel insulation incased in a neoprene sleeve. Both are closed cell and do not absorb moisture. The sleeve and Armaflex can be removed for cleaning.

Shipping:  Fermenters must ship via motor freight. 

Dimensions: The 2 BBL fermenter will fit into a three square foot base. It has a height of 72.5". If coiling coils are used, they will add 6" to the height. We can make the legs shorter, but you would need to call to discuss this.

Not designed to be used as a bright tank.
